  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 2 green chilies (sliced)
  • salt to taste
  • oil spray

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer at 180°C (360°F) for 2 minutes.
  • Add the chuda, sliced onion, and green chilies to the air fryer basket. Spray with oil, add salt, and mix well.
  • Air fry at 180°C (360°F) for 10 minutes. Toss the mixture halfway through so everything crisps up evenly.
  • Serve hot with a cup of tea. or pair with chana masala and chole.

Notes

  • Use medium thickness chuda for the best crunch. Very thin chuda burns quickly in the air fryer.
  • Toss the mixture at the halfway mark. This one step makes a big difference in even crispiness.
  • Check at 8 minutes. Air fryers vary in heat, so start checking early to avoid overcooking.
  • Cool completely before storing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Stays crunchy for up to 3 days.
